10:52 pm - presents for tenchichan.

So frecklegirl asked me for a like avatar self-portrait thing recently, and I got this weird case of déjà vu.

...Feeling very much like a right bastard, I sat down and drew some little tenchichans, and a bonus present.

You guys should know I've had a thing for colored lines recently, so. You can barely tell with this one since it's so small though. >:/

...Some of you know exactly whose style I'm aping. Hell, some of you may have even gotten a drawing from him, if you've been to certain anime conventions.

But if you don't. His name is Robert DeJesus. And—though he's pretty skilled—all of his caricatures have the exact same face.

Not that tenchichan seems like he'd be interested in a sketch from Mr. DeJesus anyway—but there you go. Now you'll never have to ask him to draw you one of those infamous generic happy faces.

(...hey, this amused the hell out of me when I thought of it at 1 AM.)

She's one of those altruistic heroine types but I can't hold that against her, especially since reading SSP again reminded me of the SaGa Frontier OST.
holy crap the last time I drew her was like the day after I got my first Wacom. February 2001, I think?

Hokay, I'm the last person to start wanking about what anyone does with my drawings, so long as they're not turning a profit or claiming they drew it themselves. But. Since people DO stumble upon this thing from the internet.

As all of these icons were specifically requested by someone, I'd really appreciate it if no one used them without his permission. Thanks.

One last note to tenchichan: Dude, if you're interested in the original sizes so you can edit these yourself, let me know and I'll email them to you. (Assuming the address on your profile is correct.) They're 400 × 400, so it's not like they're huge.
